The table below provides details of the 100+ metrics supported by Fragstats. Many of these measures are very similar, and can be considered as highly correlated. Full details of the computations associated with each metric can be found in the Fragstats documentation. Functions of this type can also be found in other packages such as the Pattern functions of SAGA, PASSaGE and the TEXTURE set of image transform operators in Idrisi.
